My name is Safaa Palestinian woman living in Gaza, with my husband and five children I’m reaching out for support to help ,my family members get out of Gaza and to reach a safe place away from war. I lost my Home and my family home .

I am Shadi, living in Germany since eight years and my whole family living currently in Gaza. We are from the city of Khan Yunis – meaning my family had to evacuate their home shortly after the attack on Khan Yunis began due to the escalating conflict after October 7th. As we know now, most of my sisters and brothers’ houses have been destroyed and they lost everything.

My family and I have lost our home, which is now rubble and dust, the last remaining memory of our dear father, who passed away two years ago. My father spent his lifetime working hard to secure a home for us, which within seconds was turned into carnage. Without being able to return to our home and see it, I asked a friend to go retrieve any of my belongings from under the rubble as a memory and sentiment to my life prior to the genocide. They found the house and everything inside it unidentifiable and unrecognizable.

In the heart of Gaza, amidst the chaos of war, my family of ten is struggling to survive. My father, my 5 siblings with two of their partners and their two young children, are facing unimaginable challenges. I am their sole voice here in Canada, having arrived on October 4, 2023 as a refugee claimant.

The war began and my daughter Asia is 3 months old. She grew up in the war amidst the bombing and the terrifying sound of rockets. I was displaced from my home to be displaced and live in a tent because the house next to my house was bombed. It was a terrifying night when The house next to my house was bombed, and our house was completely damaged. My child, Asia, was only 4 months old, and my child remained in shock from the sound of the terrifying bombing and the force of the explosion.

Hi. This is Salahaldin Alamassi. I am raising this campaign on behalf of my friend, Nadia Ghaben. The below story is Nadia’s one written and shared by her from her place of refuge in South of Gaza. Hi. I am Nadia Ghaben, a Palestinian mother, wife, daughter, and sister from Gaza. I am knocking on the last door that could open an opportunity for my little family and I to escape the ongoing genocide. I am a mother of a year and half beautiful little girl who have not seen life as we’ve planned for.

My Name is Ola, 28 years old, and my family are currently stuck in Gaza strip. I am reaching out for support to get my family out of Gaza. They have endured unimaginable horrors due to the current and ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel.

When children are present in a place that is bombed, they die more frequently than adults. Their smaller bodies are not capable of absorbing the impact as well. Their heads are bigger and heavier and hit surfaces with greater force relative to their size. Their abdominal organs are not as well protected by their rib cages and are more exposed to blunt trauma. Their hearts and lungs are smaller, closer to the surface, less muscular and spacious, and less protected. The smaller the child, the greater their risk. When you bomb a place with children in it, your primary intention is to kill all the children first. Please see story in bio

In the heart of Gaza, where every day presents a new struggle for survival, my family and I face unimaginable challenges amidst the ongoing conflict. With more than 125 days passed in this relentless war, each day brings new hardships, leaving us with no choice but to seek refuge and safety for our young daughter, Wateen, and ourselves.

On April 20th, little Fares and his mother Suad finally managed to reach Cairo. Dad Thaier stayed in Gaza and, unfortunately, he got sick. Doctors told him it’s a stomach infection. He is really weak and in Gaza there are no treatments.

I lost my Home a‘m Mustafa. I’m 28 years old and I lived my entire life in G@za. In 2014 I graduated from high school. After that I couldn’t apply to college, because of the expensive college fees. But I worked for several years to save up and study in college. In 2019 I succeeded to get in Israa University in Gaza to study software engineering. Later in 2021, I graduated from college with a high GPA.

The current situation so far: My brother was martyred on October 22, 2023. My father and my unmarried brothers live together in Gaza, and my married sister lives in the north. My parents and my unmarried sisters evacuated their home to the south, where they sought safety in UN tents. After 100 days of miraculously living in death, my parents had to leave our now-destroyed home in Gaza City and head south to Rafah.

Imagine being Judy, Mohammad, Abed, and Gazi—four siblings aged 5 to 16—facing the harsh reality of war. Their home was destroyed by an Israeli airstrike, leaving them with nothing. Now, they live in a tent, struggling with cold, severe lack of water, and food. Their father, devastated by the situation, has fallen into a deep depression, unable to communicate or provide for his family.
